Uniforms & Equipment
Capitol Hill Little League extends its gratitude to the Washington Nationals for their generous donation of jerseys and hats for our baseball, softball and challenger teams. As part of each player's registration fee, CHLL provides essential uniform basics, which include pants, an adjustable navy blue belt and navy blue socks. These items are distributed to:
All Single A baseball and softball players for the Spring season and, if needed, for the Fall Season
All Double A baseball and softball players for the Spring season and, if needed, for the Fall Season
All Challenger players, for each season of play
First-time CHLL players regardless of division for their initial season of play
All scholarship players regardless of division for each season of play; a helmet and glove also are provided by CHLL
Uniform basics are distributed at specified times during the year. Each family is responsible for picking up their player’s uniform basics at designated times at the 19th and C Street NE batting cages. Families are responsible for supplying footwear, helmets and gloves. CHLL also arranges equipment swaps each season. If a family opts to purchase their player’s pants, grey is the default color for baseball and navy blue for softball.
Coaches distribute hats and jerseys. CHLL supplies team equipment such as bats, catching gloves and gear and other required practice and game equipment.
