If you are interested in managing one of the summer tournament teams, you must submit a Manager Expression of Interest Form. The Competition Committee will coordinate the manager selection process for all teams, including reviewing submissions and coordinating pre-selection manager interviews.

Managing a tournament team is a more intense commitment than managing during the spring season. The games are substantially more competitive and playing time per player may not be equitable. You will be expected to run daily practices starting at the end of the spring season and lasting through the completion of tournament play.

Tournaments will most likely begin after July 4th and last for about two weeks. If your teams wins its DC tournament you will then advance to regional play during August. The 2020 12U, 11U and 10U regional tournaments are scheduled as follows:

East Regional Baseball Tournaments

  • 12U - August 8-15 (Bristol, CT)

  • 11U - August 7-15 (Massachusetts)

  • 10U - August 4-9 (Rhode Island)

In order to be approved as a tournament manager, you must qualify based on the following Little League guidelines:

Little League Baseball (12U): The manager and coach(es) shall be regular season team managers and/or coaches from the Little League Baseball (Major) Division.

9-10 (9U) & 11 (11U) Baseball Division: The manager and coach(es) shall be regular season team managers and/or coaches from the Majors or AAA Divisions

Junior/Senior Baseball: The manager and coach(es) shall be regular season team managers and/or coaches from the Junior Division
