New Registration System
Spring registration is open! We're moving to a new registration system that requires a new account. CLICK HERE to access step-by-step instructions for creating an account with the new system.
New Batting Helmet Policy
Beginning in the upcoming spring season, CHLL will no longer provide team batting helmets for players in AA, AAA, Majors, Juniors and Softball. This change in equipment policy is being made for safety and health reasons. A batter’s helmet should fit snugly all around, with no space between the pads and the athlete’s head. Ensuring proper fit with our one-size fits all helmets is something we struggle with, so in an effort to ensure each player is protected we will require each player aged 7+ to bring their own helmet. Review the CDC fact sheet, “GET A HEADS UP ON Batter’s Helmet Safety” to learn about proper sizing and care of batting helmets. View a variety of options if you are looking to purchase a new batting helmet.
World Series Trophy Viewing
The Nationals have an exciting invitation for you. Saturday, December 7, from 10am -1pm, all players are invited to Nationals Park to view and take pictures with the World Series trophy. There is no RSVP required, and the only “price of admission” is for each player to wear their CHLL Nationals jersey. All players may attend with their immediate family (parents/guardians and siblings). Anyone planning to attend must arrive within the 10am-1pm allotted window and arrive at the Third Base Gate on South Capitol Street. From there you will be directed to the World Series trophy. Complimentary parking is available in the Geico Garage (Garage B, located on N Street SE – in between Half Street and South Capitol Street).

MLB & the Nationals hosted a service event in partnership with CHLL where dozens of volunteers painted, improved the dugouts, spread mulch and cleared weeds. The ceremony included Mayor Bowser, Councilman Allen, Nationals Sr. Vice President of Community Engagement Gregory McCarthy, MLB’s Vice President of Social Responsibility Melanie LeGrande and most importantly, CHLL AA player and Payne 2nd grader Nicholas Guthrie who spoke at the ceremony declaring, “My name is Nicholas.
